Signed TC at Tyfon and new framework agreement – kb. has started autumn hunting for more employees

With a three-year time charter agreement also on the dive boat KB Tyfon and another framework agreement in the works, KB is once again on the hunt for divers.

The two newest agreements that kb. has entered into will make the population along the coast from Nordmøre to Bindal well acquainted with the red and white diving vessels of the Rørvik-based company in the coming years. Both the time charter agreement with KB Tyfon and the framework agreement applies to production areas six and seven.

– For us, these are super important agreements. We are proud and happy that we now have the opportunity to work even more closely with skilled fish farmers in Central Norway in the coming years, says Ola Krystad , head of sales and business development at Rørvik-based KB.

– The facilities at KB Tyfon are nice, and the crew lives on board. It increases the geographical flexibility and readiness to a very high level, says Krystad.

The Rørvik-based company has invested in several vessels and hired a number of divers this year.

– We see that the establishment of the KB school is bearing fruit. We will continue our targeted efforts to ensure that we have divers with the best expertise in aquaculture in the future, says Krystad, who reveals that the company is also working on several new projects.

– In parallel with an overwhelming demand for diving expertise, we are experiencing great interest in several technologies developed by the Smir family, of which we are a part. We are now looking at how kb. and smart Smir technologies can provide the aquaculture industry with new and even better services, reveals Krystad.
